Dr. Amber grew up in South Florida and started working at a veterinary clinic when she was 16 years old. She attended Florida Atlantic University (Go Owls!)  and after graduation, took a 3-month break and did an internship with chimpanzees.  She then attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and clinical training at the University of Florida Veterinary School.

After practicing for several years, Dr. Amber realized the need for more comprehensive pain management in her patients.  This is when she became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT).  Dr. Amber is a member of the American Association of Rehab Veterinarians, International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, and the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care. Dr. Amber is also the district captain for government relations for the ASPCA.

As the founding veterinarian of Treasure Coast Animal Rehab and Fitness, she is able to dedicate her time and attention to improving the quality of life of her patients and the quality of the family bond.

Meet our Staff

Jessica Watson

With a passion for animals since childhood, I knew a career in veterinary medicine is something I wanted to pursue. Starting as a technician at 18, I haven’t looked back since. I’m looking forward to helping your pets feel better and more comfortable alongside Dr. Amber!
